Sometimes God asks us to do the craziest things.

"To say yes you have to be sensitive and hear what God is saying."- Pst. Jim Reimer

So stop and listen. The more time you spend with the Lord the easier it will be to discern

His voice. We always need to be willing to step out in faith. It is also very important to be willing to fail. It isn't about us looking good but rather being obedient to Christ.

“Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down.
(Matthew 14:28-32)

Yes, Peter stepped out in Faith. He even got to walk on water. He didn't do it perfectly though, did he? He started to sink because he lost his focus and started focusing on the circumstances around him. The cool thing is Jesus caught him when he began to sink because he asked for help.

I don't want to be the type of person that sits in the boat afraid to walk on the water because of my fear of sinking (Looking stupid). I want to be brave and be faithful in what God is asking of me.

So what if I fail I will just try again. The other disciples must have felt pretty bumped that they missed out on their chance to walk on the water. I don't think they were focusing on Peter sinking but rather walking on water.

We will never walk properly until we are willing to sink. That is how we learn.
