EDEN

"Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil."-Genesis 2:8-9

Eden means ----> RICHES , ABUNDANCE & DELIGHT.

WOW to know that since the very beginning God created us to prosper.

We were created in a place that was full to the brim with riches, abundance, and delight. That is where humanity began. We were born into it, it is our inheritance. And yet many believers believe that they have to live in lack to remain humble? Where does this come from? I believe it stems from lots of scriptures being taken out of context. It also comes from being taught a certain way through our families or our churches. Once we have a belief system embedded into us it can be hard to change it. It can be difficult but not impossible.

One of my favorite scriptures has always been Romans 12:2

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect." 

I painted that verse on my wall when I was a teenager. In lots of translations, it says to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. That is exactly it, that is how you deal with wrong belief systems and how you implement the right ones. When faced with the belief " I am meant to be poor." or " I should never have too much that is being greedy." find where it says that in the word if it doesn't say it you have some wrong belief systems. It is the perfect time to let God renew your thinking. Put in the truth of what the word really says about finances and abundance.

Isaiah 1:19 "If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;"

Ephesians 3:20 "Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think."

Psalm 66:12 "Then you put a leader over us. We went through fire and flood, but you brought us to a place of great abundance."

Psalm 105:37" The LORD brought his people out of Egypt, loaded with silver and gold; and not one among the tribes of Israel even stumbled."

Israel went from slavery & poverty to health and riches overnight. God brings us out of not enough, to more than enough.
