"Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ." Ephesians 4:12How does one properly equip someone?
I pray every year for God to show me, specific people, He wants me to pour into. A huge part of me wishes I could spend time encouraging every single person. I have come to the quick realization that I am only one human so, with God's help, I am able to invest in those He wants me too. God has called us to multiply, to grow, and not to stay stagnant. The best way of seeing that come to the past is by mentoring others "Creating Leaders".

How to be a good mentor:
True mentorship happens when you serve together.
It's not just checking in on how someone is doing. It goes much deeper than that.
"There is a huge difference between a teacher and a father." Dr. Al Purvis
Jesus gave such a wonderful example in this passage of scripture:
"When they came down from the mountain, the disciples stood with Jesus on a large, level area, surrounded by many of his followers and by the crowds."Luke 6:17They are learning from Jesus by serving with Him and beside Him.
1- Serve together
2-*Never ask those you are mentoring to do something you wouldn't do yourself.*
3- Give your time not just when it is convenient for you.
4-Be committed don't bail at the first sign of trouble.
It's about walking the path together. It's time to build the Body of Christ.
