Consistency is Key

When it comes to keeping my word and being consistent in my everyday life I am far from perfect.
I mess up ... either I forgot to send out the schedule on time or I completely forgot to let someone know the practice has been canceled. That does not prevent me from trying my best daily.
I brush it off get back up, I chose to keep going. I want others to see me as someone they can depend on someone that isn't flaky. I wouldn't want to follow someone that I can't trust. That doesn't do what they say they will do.
So why would I ever expect the team I lead to do the same?
Proverbs 25:14 A person who promises a gift but doesn’t give it is like clouds and wind that bring no rain.
I want to bring the rain. I don't think it would be fun to be a cloud in the sky that doesn't provide rain to people that are going through a drought.
>> Lord help us to always keep our word.
Help us to be consistent.
Help us to become leaders that others want to follow.
