Crabby

Crab mentality also known as Crabs in a bucket can easily escape from the bucket one at a time, but instead of doing that they pull each other down whenever one rises to the top - thus insuring their collective demise.

This is similar to the behavior of a person who diminishes or pulls down anyone else who achieves or is about to achieve success greater than their own.

Like Pastor, Renee stated, "Sometimes I would rather be friendless than be surrounded by the wrong kind of people."

When someone comes to you full of excitement and new vision are you quick to tear them down? Are you the type to say " that isn't realistic". Maybe once you were a dreamer yourself and you used to be full-on new ideas and passion but over the years the light has dimmed, other crabs kept pulling you down in the bucket when you tried to get out.

I would like to encourage you today. There is still hope for you yet. A wonderful way to get yourself to where you need to be is by surrounding yourself with the right people.

Those that are always ready and willing to invest in you. They will encourage growth not just surviving.

You will soon be out of that bucket in no time.

You will become someone that pulls others out of the buckets that they are in.
