Many of us wonder why do so many leaders fall?
We hear of those who have gone so far and done amazing things for God and yet at the end of their lives they don't end strong. Their secret sins get exposed to the public. The thought pops in "If they can't do it then how can ?"We can't let those examples discourage us from moving ahead in our faith walk. Let's catch it before it gets serious.
How do I know I'm in the danger zone?
We grow to the point of not needing/letting people speak into us. That's when we go off the rails.-Dr. Al Purvis
Are there things you struggle with now? Even if it seems small and you don't think it's worth sharing, those small sins can grow, get help now. Find people in your life that you can give a place to speak over you. Even if you don't always like what you hear that tends to be the stuff you need to hear to keep you in line.
I am very thankful that I work at a Church. The pastors always know if something is off with me. They keep me in check. They will walk by my desk look me in the eye ask "Are you doing ok?"
Just by the way I look back at them they know if we need to have a chat or not. They call me out and help me work through so much stuff. The Pastors and some key people in my life help me from turning into an ogre. They help me keep my heart in check.
Please ... Please...Please find your people.
Don't be an ogre! God has big plans for you don't go off the rails.
