FIRST FRUIT LOOP

When listening to the lesson I was shocked to find out I didn't really know

anything about the firstfruits. I can't wait to dig in more and more about what this truly means.

First Fruits: first harvest of grain/ first sheaf of wheat. Giving the first part to God believing that there is more of this that will be produced. If it was the same as the tithe it would be the last fruits.

Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.  Proverbs 3:9-10

I don't want to keep robbing the Lord. It's important to know

that tithing and giving your firstfruits isn't the same thing.

The firstfruits is from your heart. Whatever you want your harvest to look like you give that to the lord. -Dr. Al 

I will start by giving my first fruits. It can look different for lots of people.

Some give their first month's salary. Other's give what they make from their first book sales.

Rather than living in fear of lack ... We need to learn to trust the Lord with everything holding nothing back. That includes our first fruits. It shouldn't be a serious law /religious thing we must do, but rather a revelation we grab a hold of that can set us free.

 "Bring the whole tithe ( & first fruits ) into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."- Malachi 3:10
