The biggest problems in my life matter way less when I start serving others.

Mexico 2014- Volunteering at the Daycare & Orphanage

Using my arms as a seatbelt I try to keep the little girl in my arms as safe as possible. Her bright eyes looking up at me through her pink glasses. Knowing that this small child was sexually abused when she was only five years old breaks my heart. She hasn't spoken since. When she hugs and clings to me nothing else around me matters. This is God's little girl.
And for the one week that I get to spend with her and the other orphans, I want to be all in. I want to give it my all. At that moment I had a sense of " This is what I was made for."

"Say no to your comfort zone and
 yes to serving others."Pst.Joseph

COMFORT ZONE

" What if I mess up or say the wrong thing?" Yowsah lots of people get stuck on this question.

That question debilitates and stops many from stepping into the destiny God has for them.

We use it as an excuse to not serve.

//Our confidence needs to be in the Lord//

"But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,

whose confidence is in him." -Jeremiah 17:7

Oh, the places you can go when you let God have free reign in your heart and life.

God has put it in our DNA to reach out & serve people. If you haven't already started serving.....

START TODAY.

PRAYER

Father, help me to live this day to the full,

being true to You, in every way.

Jesus, help me to give myself away to others,

being kind to everyone I meet.

Spirit help me to love the lost,

proclaiming Christ in all I do and say.

Amen

(Lectio-prayer)
