Growing up in the church I have come across many different

kinds of people. I would get so excited when new families would come

into the church. Then I would become so heartbroken when they would leave.

I would wonder why? ...Our church is so awesome. Then one day my dad became

hurt and offended and stopped attending church altogether.

Something switched in me I saw what staying could do & the effects of what leaving

church could do.

How can plants grow if they continue to be uprooted?

"Having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude." Colossians 2:7

How can staying change your life?

I decided to stick it out. It wasn't because of how fun it was or because of all my friends that attended, I saw something in the lives of the people around me. In those who stuck it out & became firmly rooted, I began to see a deep trust in God, when things were falling apart around them they still had this peace about them. That was it, that's what I wanted & I wouldn't let anything stop me from getting it.
