Response to Adoption

Our story :

We have been adopted taken out of the darkness and brought into the light

"The kingdom of the Son He loves" Col 1:13

We have a new identity, the old us is gone. We are a new person!!!

With a new name, our past is totally erased. (Phil 2:9-11)

We are His heirs. All that belongs to our father belongs to us.

We have the legal right to do what He has set us out to do on the earth.

Different responses to adoption

1. Response // The father showing his love for his adopted kids by what he gives them.

The child thinks " Where just here to get what we can." So they measure God's love by what He gives them. *Many of us get stuck here.*

2. Response// Believes in the father's love & sees an inheritance that they can now be a partaker of by investing in that inheritance. They receive love because they give love. They're not there to measure love they are there to give love.

We need to make a heart decision.

Do I believe that my Father loves me? Am I confident in that love?

When you walk in confidence in the assurance of that love YOU ARE able to do amazing things for the Kingdom. You don't just see what you can get from the Father, you realize you have something to offer, you have a part to play.

I HAVE A PART TO PLAY! AND SO DO YOU!
