What are my priorities? Where is all my money going?

As students, we were encouraged to keep track of everything we

spend by writing it down for a month or 2. The purpose behind it is

to see where we need to make adjustments. Also tracking where

our money goes will help us when we create a budget.

"If you have no direction your kinda just wandering."
-Margaret Purvis

There are many ministries I want to invest in and future goals I want to reach.

To make that a reality I need to start somewhere.

First Steps

  1. Track all my expenses in my day to day life for a month.

  2. Put the expenses in categories at the end of the month.

  3. Make a budget.

It seems a little overwhelming when I think about it. But Margaret said something

that really helped me and that advice has also worked for lots of her clients.

Designate 1 day a month. The only way you'll notice the difference is when you start doing it.- Margaret Purvis

It doesn't take a financial guru to be able to set aside one day a month to work on

your budget & financial goals, anyone can do it .

So let's start here.
