Take me to your Leader

We all struggle with submission sometimes. The cool thing is that if we learn to submit properly it's where our roots can grow the deepest. When we are under proper submission that is when we can bear the most fruit.

Ways to test if you are properly submitted.......

1-What do you do when you see your leaders fail?

(The way you deal with that situation reveals your heart)

2- When you go somewhere new do you seek out leaders?

(Always be looking for a leader to submit yourself too)

3- Are you always willing to serve no matter what the task?

Another important thing to point out is that :

Submission is an absolute. Obedience is conditional. The only time you can't walk in obedience is if what they are asking of you is illegal/ immoral/ unscriputal -Pst. Paul Juss

One year when I was volunteering as a youth leader my friend invited me to go on this amazing trip for a weekend. I then realized that I had already made a previous commitment to help with youth that same weekend. I talked to the Youth Pastor about it and she told me she thought I shouldn't go she believed I should keep the commitments I make. I was so angry I just wanted to do my own thing & have fun for a weekend. I realized that if I did go I would feel regret all weekend for not keeping my comitment. I decided to stay.

That is just a small situation I went through, but years later I still remember it so clearly. It helped me realize the importance of keeping my word and also honoring leadership by respecting them & listening to their wisdom and guidance. ( actually listening to it not fighting it every step of the way.)

There are so many benefits to living life properly under submission.
