Too Salty

That moment when all my hard work has paid off.

I look upon the scene with a proud gaze.

I've made a delicious meal for my family & friends.

After the meal, someone approaches me

"The buns were kinda salty."

"Alot of times what we need the most is what we like the least."-P. Kelly

How do I react?

" You have terrible taste buds!"

"Wow, thanks for letting me know I will be sure to adjust that next time."

The comments of others can be well-meaning or critical.

What matters is how I react. What's going on on the inside?

"You can either grow or make excuses you can't do both." -P. Kelly

"Lord, Help me to grow and learn how to receive correction in a healthy way.

When I am offended help me to release it to you. When the big hits come

help me to stand steadfast in you." Amen

Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.
