Unloading Baggage

Why am I doing what I am doing? In the beginning, I knew MY WHY.

Sometimes we get so caught up in the day to day stuff. We get so busy and we come to this place where we feel exhausted & drained. We feel like we are carrying such a heavy weight on our shoulders. We can't seem to get anyone excited about our vision. They are not catching the vision. Perhaps it is because we ourselves have lost sight of WHY we are doing what we are doing.

How do we get to that place? How do we prevent ourselves from reaching that point?

1- Surrounding ourselves with people that lift you up.

When I went to Thailand it felt like home. It was like everyone I met got me and understood me.

Their culture was the same as mine. They encouraged me to leap into the unknown and trust God.

2- Being confident in your identity. Digging through and searching out the scriptures finding who God says you are and believing that every word is true & walking it out.

3- Staying unified with others. Fight against division, walk together towards the same goal.

4- Tending to your heart. Someone once told me to check yourself before you wreck yourself.

it's important to be checking our hearts so we know where we are at. Things like to sneak in trying to disrupt the place God wants to take us too. Lots of times it can be offense/ unforgiveness even rebellion and pride. Don't run from these issues work through them with the Holy Spirits help.

When I feel off-balance I will make sure to check these 4 areas to make sure everything is in-line. Time to take all that baggage off my shoulders. God wants us to be walking full of passion and excitement. We have a purpose & a destiny written all over us (A WHY). The WHY is not just for us it's meant to inspire those around us.
