Vintage Chair

Walking through an antique store I see all the items people decide to leave behind.

Perhaps they got new and better things now or they don't find them to be useful anymore.

Whatever their reasons I also see so much beauty and possibility:

"That chair could be wonderful with a little love and care."

Why do we as people so easily give up on others?

Humans aren't objects that can be easily replaced by something new and better.

God has called us to see the beauty and the uniqueness of the people that cross our paths.

"For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."
-Ephesians 2:10

Imagine if one day we all decided the people in our lives were worth investing into.

If we purposed to see the good in others " the gold as some would say.

Yes, we are God's masterpiece, and guess what others are as well.

His artwork is to build us. Our real creativity is building other people. -Dr. Al

How do we reach the people that feel so disconnected or forgotten?

How do we build others up?

Let's start by using the creativity that God has placed on the inside of every single one of us. Those gifts aren't just for us. Our gifts aren't just supposed to be for people to admire, God put them there for the purpose of serving and helping others.

Whether it is someone's car that could use some fixing or you decide to make a painting that brings healing and encouragement to someone.

Let's invest our giftings into others. That is what they are there for.
