Wedding Dress

"Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy."Ephesians 4:24

When you put on clothes sometimes you need to make adjustments,

whether that be that it's inside out or simply a button is undone.

God wants us to put on (Remains on us) the new nature ( the new man).

We need to be willing to make adjustments if it is needed.

He created in us a new man that did not exist before.

We can't wear the old stuff we use to wear. Trying to do the old things we use to do that won't work anymore. Those things won't feel right. We have been made new, fresh & clean.

Just like the story of the man that was invited to a wedding banquet and He didn't dress in the proper clothing for it. When the king came to greet his guest and realized the man didn't

come dressed in wedding clothes he was thrown out and punished. (Matt 22)

God wants us to be wearing our new suit and not going back to the old dirty rags

we were wearing before.

What are the results of putting on the new man (outflow)? 

Holiness: What God approves of.

Righteousness (Justice): Legal approval. Nothing that could legally come against

you and accuse you of not being righteous.
